We need to hop on board early here, as the over 2.5 is way too tasty to pass in the weekend encounter between Leicester and Bournemouth. Neither of the teams has too much to play for but their pride – and after the season Leicester’s had, they should be up for it. Bournemouth’s motivation is a bit of a question mark, though.

Bournemouth started the season well, but as the season progressed, the Cherries’ performances went south. If not for the heroics of Joshua King, Eddie Howe might’ve found his men stuck in a real relegation battle. Every fantasy football player knows just how often King’s scored in the last couple of months, but he’s been even bigger for Bournemouth with one crucial goal after another. But yes, fantasy owners are happy, too.

On Sunday King and the rest of Bournemouth line up against Leicester. In all honesty, Foxes’ season was saved when Claudio Ranieri got fired and Craig Shakespeare took the defending champions hot seat. He’s done an excellent job, and to bid farewell to season 16/17, he’s certain to bring in a proper side to leave the fans as good of a taste as possible.

In the injury front Danny Drinkwater and Wes Morgan are expected to miss the season finale, with Robert Huth as a slight worry for Shakespeare. For Bournemouth, we expect King to add to his tally, with Junior Stanislas as another key man for keeping Foxes defense busy.

Leicester – Bournemouth prediction

Josh King and Jamie Vardy should lead us to over 2.5 goals at 4/5 . The absentees at the back for Leicester will be costly, and Bournemouth haven’t defended properly since Nathan Ake got called back to Chelsea squad.
