Hull have found themselves in a right mess once again. Marco Silva’s arrival to the Tigers was a breath of fresh air, and for a moment it looked like Hull might escape relegation. But with Hull’s recent results and Swansea’s torrid form, Hull are fighting for their Premiership lives. They don’t control their own destiny, but with a win at Selhurst Park, they could delay the decider until the last tick of the clock next weekend.

Today we’re expecting a game where the tempo is upbeat, and both teams will enjoy their share of scoring chances. Palace have a lot of injury worries to their side especially in the defensive front, while Hull were shaky at the back against lowly Sunderland. Black Cats breached the Tigers twice and took away three points Hull desperately needed.

Hull arrive at Selhurst Park nearly at full strength. Lazar Markovic, though, was ruled out for rest of the season after suffering an ankle injury in the game against Sunderland, but otherwise, Silva has options. We expect to see the attacking trio of Kamil Grosicki – Abel Hernandez – Oumar Niasse, which would pose problems to the makeshift Palace defensive line.

Crystal Palace – Hull prediction

The best bet here is the over 2.5 at evens, as Hull need to attack in order to secure three points. They can’t settle for a draw, so even in 1-1 they need to attack more than they normally would.
